Woof! Woof!

I heard it again. That dog is creating a racket, something he's done ever since he came
here. Every morning he's been giving me a headache by barking incessantly. This is the fault of that bastard little brother of mine. I swear if there is one person who can kill me and my baby, Eiri could do it in a second.

"Tohma! Make that stupid dog shut up! How many times do I have to tell you to kill it or bury it alive?!" I shouted.

Suddenly, the barking stopped. How Tohma shuts that creature up is still a mystery to me.

Tohma came into the room with a big smile on his face.

"Ohayo, Mika-san," Tohma said, kissing me on the forehead. "How are you this morning?"

"I would have been fine if that dog didn't wake me up." I said, muttering curses under my breath.

"Maa, maa, Mika-san. I think this might cheer you up," Tohma said comfortingly, handing me an envelope. It was an invitation. An invitation to my baby shower.

"Nuriko-san dropped it off earlier. She wanted you to see this and she was asking for the guest list so you we could send out the invitations. Who do you want to invite?"

I haven't given a thought to whom I shall invite to my baby shower. "Otoosan would want to come. I've mentioned this to Tatsuha and he said that he'll be there. You should invite NG. Ryuichi and Nuriko should be there. I just want it to be a small gathering with only our close family and friends," I told Tohma.

Then, Tohma looked into my eyes with a puzzled look on his face. "Anou, Mika-san. Won't you invite Eiri-san?"

Arrgh! How could Tohma mention that bastard?! THe mere mention of his name makes me nauseous.the memory of my ruined white day comes back into mind.

Tohma decided to bring me out on a date last White Day. I was all dressed up and was waiting for Tohma to finish the phone conversation he was having when the doorbell rang. I opened the door and I saw Eiri and Shindou-san at the door. What caught my attention is the brown thing Shindou-san was carrying.

"Ohayo, Mika-san! Anou, gomen nasai for bothering you but..." Shindou-san started talking but I cut him off.

"What is that?!" I glared at Eiri.

"A dog. A male version of you actually," Eiri said with a smirk.

"Baka. I know that. What is it doing here?!" I retorted and opted to ignore the remark implying that I'm a bitch.

"We're going out and we need someone to dog-sit. Omedetouo! You're the lucky couple we've chosen to take care of the dog," Eiri said, obviously trying to annoy me.

"Nani?! You can't leave this thing here! In case you haven't noticed, I'm pregnant here. I'm due to deliver in two months I don't want any dog hanging around the house. It might carry germs that would make me sick! Forget it! I'm not taking the dog in, Eiri!" I shouted at him.

"Well, we're still going to leave it here whether you like it or not," Eiri said.

I wanted to slap Eiri but I stopped myself. "Are you trying to kill me and my baby?!" He is becoming the insensitive bastard he is. Sometimes, I don't understand what satisfaction Eiri gets from annoying me. I feel it has become one of his favorite pasttimes.

Shindou-san went between us. "There's no need for you to fight...we'll just..."

"Urusai!" I interrupted Shindou-san and pushed him out of the way. I looked at Eiri and said, "Leave, Eiri. Don't ruin my day! There are more things I need to worry about than having a dog run around my house. Stop messing up my life."

Tohma has put down the phone and came to the door. He saw the dog and said, "Inu?! Is there something wrong, Mika-san?"

"Tohma, these two want us to dog-sit while they're out. Tell them we're not going to do it!" I commanded Tohma.

"You know taking care of a dog is good practice for the two of you until the baby comes..." Eiri commented.

I am really ready to kill him. I don't care if we're related or what.

"Baka! I don't want the dog here and that's final! I don't want the baby to come out looking brown and hairy! Tohma,do something with it or else i'm going to..." I wasn't able to continue what I was saying because i started to cry. Tears were rolling down my cheek. I didn't know why I was crying. I guess I was crying because Eiri made me feel bad. Maybe because I wasn't getting what I wanted. There were times when I just cry without any reason. This pregnancy has changed me. Sometimes, I feel that I am too weak to take care of myself and my baby. Simple incidents like this can easily make me break down.

"Calm down, Mika-san." Tohma ushered me into the house. We sat down in the living room. "Let me deal with this. You just take a rest. I'll just order from your favorite restaurant and we could eat here, okay?"

I nodded. Tohma is the only one who understands how I feel. I was still crying but I have calmed down a little to hear what Tohma is explaining.

"Mika has been moody lately. She tends to be emotional. She loses her temper easily. She's just worried about the baby and everything else. Please understand what she's been going through. I'll handle this."

Tohma came inside the house with the dog in his hands. "They won't be gone for so long.the dog won't be a nuisance, I promise." Tohma smiled at me.

What a joke! Tohma's promise was a big joke! That dog was a very big nuisance. It was like Eiri was in the house with me.

Tohma snapped his fingers to bring me back to reality. I seemed to look spaced out while I was recalling the White Day events. "Daijobu desu ka, Mika-san?!"

"Umn, daijobu," I said. I guess I overreacted when Eiri and Shindou-san brought the dog to us. Maybe Eiri wasn't really trying to annoy me... I decided..."What the hell? Invite Eiri to the baby shower. Shindou-san as well. They might not come anyway."

Then, Tohma hugged me. "Hai, hai! We'll invite them. Everything will be alright. Don't worry too much. It's bad for you and the baby".

I hugged Tohma back. I've seen a change in Tohma.he has been so nice to me, different from before. He has been constantly fussing about me and the baby. I guess this pregnancy has changed both of us.

"Gomen nasai, Tohma. I've been such a pain lately. One minute, I'm an angel, so sweet and nice.the other minute I'm this bitch who bosses you around."

"Iie. You're not being a pain. It comes with being pregnant." Tohma smiled at me.

"Arigatou, Tohma." I kissed him on the cheek. I knew I would really be okay as long as Tohma is with me.
